ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Using imaging spectroscopy or hyperspectral imaging for useful applications requires the ability to trust the spectral signatures in each pixel. Laboratory technicians typically set up precise and large samples when building models for different applications. But when using that model out in the real world, where things are messy, and there is a need to detect samples down to one-to-two-pixel object size, the process becomes more complicated.

To achieve repeatable results, the model requires high spectral fidelity in each pixel. Different quality parameters affect the spectral fidelity in different ways, in this talk, Løke focuses on the importance of the different parameters and how they affect the end results.

About the presenter

Trond LøkeTrond Løke has a master’s degree in photonics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He calibrated and characterized Norsk Elektro Optikk's (NEO) first hyperspectral system in 2002 and was part of designing HySpex’s first hyperspectral imaging system in 2003, eventually becoming the CTO. In 2020, Trond became the CEO of NEO located in Oslo, Norway.
