ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
 Join us for a FREE webinar – Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 1 - 2 p.m. EDT

Dan Bajuk is Technical Director of ZYGO’s Extreme Precision Optics group in Richmond, California. He has 40 years of expertise in developing aspheric manufacturing and metrology processes. Applications he’s worked on span the spectrum from infrared to EUV, and projects as widely separated as EUV semiconductor lithography, the Hubble Space Telescope’s COSTAR optics and Freeforms.

Tolerancing high precision aspheres is different. Where should you tolerance? What should you tolerance? Zygo Extreme Precision Optics draws on years of experience in manufacturing custom optics, to share examples of geometries and concerns in several demanding asphere applications. Learn how and why to tolerance your custom optical designs -- enough to avoid unexpected errors, and not so much that you've over-toleranced and added unneeded production requirements. In other words: learn how to get what you need, and to not pay for what you don't need.
