TriLite Partners with ams OSRAM on RGB Diodes for AR Displays

VIENNA, Sept. 6, 2023 — Courtesy of TriLite Technologies.Display technology company TriLite has collaborated with ams OSRAM to further develop TriLite’s Trixel 3 laser beam scanner (LBS). The Trixel 3 LBS is an ultracompact projection display geared toward augmented reality (AR) applications, particularly for smart glasses, among other consumer applications.

TriLite's Trixel 3 received a PRISM Award in 2023 in the AR/VR/MR category. Recently, ams OSRAM announced a strategic realignment in which the company stated it would eliminate its passive optical components portfolio and pursue opportunities in consumer markets.
